Pastor Spence reminds us of God's hope that is available to those in Christ during hard times. He explains that while suffering is a universal experience, it is temporary, contrasting it with the eternal glory that awaits believers in heaven. He uses Romans 8 to show us how the apostle Paul assures that God is present in our suffering, intercedes on our behalf through the Holy Spirit, and uses all circumstances, including hardship, to transform us into the likeness of Christ.
